Stufvenäs Gästgifveri, dating back to the end of the 18th century, is a classic inn in the countryside of Småland, where you get a genuine experience for all your senses. We stand out with a personal host with both warmth and care in a harmonious and inspiring environment.

We are a modern hotel with 52 rooms and a reputable restaurant that serves traditional and genuine dishes in a modern style. We adapt our menus to the changes of the season and try to use local or Swedish ingredients that are carefully selected, if available.

In 2007, a burglary took place in our wine cellar when 17 years of collecting and 6,000 bottles were stolen, today with a market value of around SEK 30,000,000. After the theft, the basement was locked and in recent years has slowly begun to be rebuilt. Today, the cellar consists of about 3,500 bottles and 600 unique labels.

At the facility, we have an appreciated Spa with fantastic views of Kalmar Strait. We are also a well-attended conference facility with a congress hall for up to 220 participants, 10 modern conference rooms, and 6 group rooms.
