Experience a modern idyll where history meets the future in our newly built facility, proudly presenting 21 new rooms. In each room, where luxury and relaxation are the focus, we have carefully selected sustainable and local materials to create a harmony between tradition and modernity, as well as a unique combination of elegance and eco-conscious design.
Imagine waking up in one of our beautiful rooms, with the sound of the sea, the stillness of the meadows, and the majestic beauty of the Småland pine forest right outside. Our facility offers not just an escape from everyday life, but an invitation to a relaxing and magical stay. Here, you can unwind in an environment that celebrates the best of both worlds – the timeless beauty of our Småland nature and the latest in modern comfort and design.
Our suites are designed to give you a sense of luxury and privacy while still allowing you to feel close to nature. Experience the calming presence of the sea, gaze over the lush meadows, or explore the Småland pine forest. With us, nature is not just a view – it’s a part of your stay.
We have created a place where every detail is designed for your comfort and well-being, a place where you can relax and rejuvenate your soul and mind. Welcome to a place where luxury meets sustainability, and every moment becomes a memory for life.
“This is the largest investment in the 36-year history of Stufvenäs Gästgifveri, which is incredibly exciting. This gives us more power moving forward, creates jobs, makes us a more attractive employer, and provides a better guest experience.”
– Marcus Thell, CEO & Owner

In our new hotel building, we have selected beautiful textiles from Mimou, thanks to their exceptional craftsmanship and sustainable philosophy. Mimou, a Swedish brand, represents home décor products that are carefully made with selected materials and a love for detail. Their understated design and well-crafted items perfectly harmonize with our hotel’s aesthetic and sustainability goals.
An example of their unique products is the cushions made from old linen towels, re-dyed with GOTS-certified pigments in Sweden. The backs of these cushions are made from surplus fabric, reflecting Mimou’s commitment to sustainability through the reuse of materials. Each cushion is unique, with variations in appearance and color shades, adding an authentic and personal touch to our hotel rooms. Additionally, all cushions are sewn locally in Ronneby and include a well-filled inner cushion made of Oeko-Tex® certified down feathers.
By choosing Mimou, we not only contribute to a beautiful and inviting interior, but also to a more sustainable and responsible hotel operation. Their products are not just beautiful additions to our spaces, but also represent an investment in sustainability and Swedish craftsmanship.
In our new hotel building, we have chosen to use Örsjö Belysning’s beautiful lamps, as they not only illuminate the rooms and are locally made, but also tell a story. Örsjö, a village in Småland, is more than just a name; it is the place where this family-owned business began its journey over 75 years ago. They have always prioritized local, small-scale production and craftsmanship, resulting in lighting that is unique and full of quality and character.
Each Örsjö lamp is a work of art, created with a combination of traditional techniques and modern design. By working with prominent Scandinavian designers such as Jonas Bohlin and Matti Klenell, Örsjö Belysning has created expressive and sustainable lamps that complement our hotel’s atmosphere and architecture in an unparalleled way.
Their commitment to sustainability, from the use of sustainable materials to their ISO-certified management system, aligns with our hotel’s goal to reduce environmental impact. Örsjö Belysning’s lamps are not just lighting; they are symbols of craftsmanship, quality, and sustainable design. That’s why we’ve chosen them to light up our new hotel building, to create an environment that is both luxurious and conscious.
